Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Application Playbook collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

  • Account information: your email address, an optional first name, and — if you use Google sign-in — the basic profile information Google shares (name and email).
  • Purchase records: the amount, currency, date, and Stripe identifiers for your purchase. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store them.
  • Reading progress: which chapters you’ve opened and when, so we can show your progress and let you continue where you left off.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting providers for security and reliability.

How we use it

To run your account, verify your purchase, provide access to the content, show your progress, respond to support requests, and keep the Service secure. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We rely on Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). They process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated to name the provider.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. Some small conveniences (like checklist ticks) are stored in your browser only. We don’t use advertising cookies.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account data while your account exists. To delete your account and associated data, email support@applicationplaybook.com. Purchase records may be retained where required for tax and accounting purposes.

Students under 18

The Service is intended for students (with a parent’s or guardian’s permission if under 18) and parents. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information. Please email support@applicationplaybook.com and we’ll help.
