For 2026–27, Cornell dropped its university-wide essay. You now write only the essay(s) for the undergraduate college you're applying to: 650 words for Arts & Sciences, AAP, Dyson, Nolan, ILR, and Brooks; 550 words for Human Ecology; two 350-word essays for CALS; and two 200-word essays plus four 100-word short answers for Engineering.
